Some fees will soon be implemented to assist the NCNHP with continuing to provide public access to digital data resources.

Raleigh

Within the next few weeks, the Natural Heritage Program will implement fees to defray costs associated with online access to natural heritage data, environmental review services, and field surveys, as authorized by §143B-135.272. Fees collected will allow NCNHP to continue to provide these services and operate the Natural Heritage Data Explorer (NHDE). We will post more information to our website as soon as the fees are approved. If you have immediate questions, please contact Misty Buchanan at 919-707-8107 or misty.buchanan@ncdcr.gov.

 • A public hearing on the proposed rule occured Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the first-floor auditorium of the State Archives and Library Building at the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, 109 E. Jones Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601.

 • The public comment period has closed.
